Course content
|
In a group students will present basic thesis, purpose, selected methods and planned structure of their thesis. The presentation will be used to discuss the formulated propositions, methods and problems connected with completing the thesis (e.g. access to resources, literature selection, chosen methods, structure of a thesis, etc.). Based on the presentation students are encouraged to write a report on a subtopic. In this course students may ask for advice on common problems in thesis writing.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of this course is to adapt students´ scientific approach to write their thesis.
Student " can define the purpose of the thesis and formulate its basic propositions " is able to explain selected methods and their relevance for topic analysis " can clarify and justify the thesis structure.

Prerequisites
|
To complete the course students are expected to assign officially the Bachelor Thesis at Department of German.

Credit requirements: Active participation in seminars, students must successfully complete required tasks (oral presentation, a seminar paper, etc.).
