Course content
1. Acquisition of language resources in teaching German - language plans of German, four speech skills, practical examples based on selected German textbooks. 2. Written form of the German language - specific features of German orthography, main difficulties for Czech pupils, ways of correct practice of German orthography, types of exercises focused on practicing German orthography, practical examples. 3. The sound form of the German language - specific features of the pronunciation of the German language for Czech pupils, methods of corrective practice, types of exercises focused on the pronunciation of German, strategies suitable for practicing correct pronunciation, practical examples. 4. - 5. Lexical plan of the German language - presentation and mediation of the meaning of German vocabulary, multichannel learning, typology of exercises for working with vocabulary, strategies for working with the lexicon, practical examples. 6. - 7. Grammar plan of the German language - selection of grammar curriculum, ways of mediating grammar curriculum, typology of exercises for working with grammar, strategic procedures for mastering grammar, practical examples. 8. Teaching planning and lessons for the subject NJ as a foreign language - reflection of listening in German lessons, planning a teaching unit of the German language, basic principles and procedures, preparation for the teaching itself, practical examples. 9. Selection and use of German textbooks, textbooks for degrees II and III - textbooks and teaching files for teaching the German language in Czech schools, textbook construction, textbook selection criteria, textbook content analysis, practical examples. 10. Types, functions and use of technical and electronic means in teaching German - types of media for language teaching, application of media in teaching German, advantages and disadvantages of their application, practical examples. 11. Criteria for selection of texts and work with them in teaching German - principles of selection of suitable texts for teaching German for various levels according to SERRJ, didactics of authentic texts, practical examples.

Learning outcomes
Students will be acquainted with the basic methodological procedures of learning language resources. Emphasis is placed on the connection of lingvodidactic theory with teaching practice in the relevant type of schools, as well as on the development of skills in the preparation, implementation and subsequent evaluation (reflection) of the teaching unit. Students prepare a simulation of lessons (units) according to the chosen topic, goals and character of the target group. For the presentation of these simulations (outputs, microteaching), students submit written documentation (teaching unit protocol, teaching materials, exercises and assignments and some other materials to the seminar leader and co-students.
The student attending the class - is familiar with basic didactic categories, - masters basic lingvodidactic terminology, - can combine knowledge of general and subject didactics, - knows valid curricular documents.

Credit: active participation in seminars (Attendance: min. 70%), fulfilment of assigned tasks, outputs in the form of microteaching, successful completion of a colloquium or elaboration of a seminar work on a given topic or passing the credit test.
