Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to prepare the students for independent creative work in the master's degree program, especially for writing diploma theses. In the seminars will be analysed the sample scientific/academic texts from the field of German studies. On the one side the students will be practising work procedures, on the other side they will learn how to acquire practical skills on the selected sample. Attention will be paid especially to their construction and division, specialty style, argumentation and formal aspects, including the formats of citation or the issues of compilation and plagiarism.
Students - are prepared for independent creative work in the master's degree programme, especially for writing diploma theses, - have mastered and can apply working procedures to the writing of professional texts focused on their areas of study.
