The seminar focuses on Intercultural literature as one of the main tendencies of contemporary literature in the German language area. The aim of the seminar is to analyse the intercultural aspects of selected literary works and reflect the specific features of Intercultural Literature in the context of so-called migration literature.
At the end of the course students are expected to - get an overview of the development, authors, themes, genres and specific features of so-called Intercultural literature, - be able to analyse and interpret literary works from the perspective of intercultural literary science.
