Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is the revision of the most important knowledge acquired in all previous linguistics seminars (phonetics and phonology, morphology, syntax and text linguistics, lexicology, stylistics). Furthermore, the course aims at practising complex linguistic analyses of texts, based on the knowledge acquired in linguistics seminars. The primary goal of this course is to help students prepare for the final examination.
Students are able to see the linguistic issues in connections and they can use their knowledge in the complex linguistic analysis of a text. They are able to use relevant terminology and they are acquainted with the basic literature on phonetics and phonology, morphology, syntax, text linguistics, lexicology and stylistics.
Prerequisites
Completing all courses in linguistics successfully.
