Learning outcomes
The course "Presentation skills and rhetoric" will focus on practising speeches in order to make students more confident in their future speaking practice. Students will choose one topic from the offer which they will prepare and present to their peers in seminar. Afterwards, the instructor and students will evaluate the speech. The feedback will thus deepen both productive, receptive, and evaluation skills.
The students are sensitized to the use of the spoken language; they are able to create speeches independently and with linguistic refinement that meet the requirements for graduates in philological disciplines.
