Recommended events: 1. German-language public readings by author 2. Films: German-language films, or Czech-German films 3. Theater: German-language performances, or Czech-language performances of dramas by German or Austrian authors, or performances with a Czech-German theme 4. Museums and exhibitions with (Czech-) German or Austrian overlap 5. Concerts - musical performances from the German-speaking area (all styles), or concerts of German or Austrian ensembles and groups 6. Academic lectures and seminars on (Czech-) German or Austrian topics 7. Professional tours or field trips

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to sensitize students to living Czech-German culture and to develop their intercultural competence by visiting at least 10 public Czech-German or Czech-Austrian cultural and / or academic events of one's own choice outside of university.
Students will expand their intercultural competence and get acquainted with the current cultural and academic scene.

Assessment methods and criteria

During one semester, students visit at least ten events, record visits in an "intercultural passport", prepare a report on the visit of these events and a review of one selected event.
