Learning outcomes
The aim is to deepen the doctoral student's knowledge of current linguistic discourses and new trends in linguistic research. Students will gain insight into them in wider (and interdisciplinary) contexts. The aim is further to verify the student's ability to apply theoretical knowledge on an empirical level and reflect it in their own research plan. The choice of topics and secondary literature reflects the focus of the student's dissertation project and the offer of lectures by visiting experts.
The student has an overview of current linguistic discourses and new developmental tendencies of linguistic research and is well versed in them, they can apply theoretical knowledge on an empirical level.
