Course content

The content includes participation in at least one event thematically related to Czech-German or Czech-Austrian relations with the participation of a foreign guest from the German-speaking area (e.g. lecture, workshop, cultural event, author's reading, exhibition, etc.), or participation in a foreign excursion organized by the Department of German Studies (without credit evaluation).

Learning outcomes
|
This is a compulsory elective course, which aims to support the internationalisation of studies and to bring a foreign dimension to them, and to provide students with a concrete intercultural experience in the Czech-German context, which is the main focus of the chosen study programme.
The student deepens his interest in German-speaking culture and is motivated for future work in the field of German-Czech or Austrian-Czech cooperation. He expands and strengthens his intercultural (especially Czech-German and Czech-Austrian) competence through social interaction.
