Exercises on individual types of clause - different aspects of the definition of a seclause, classification; exercises on types of clauses, their classification; exercises on word order types in German. 2. Learning outcomes
|
The course builds on the courses Grammar 1 and Grammar 2 and is designed as their expanding. Based on the course Exercises in Grammar 2, students will consolidate their existing knowledge and skills in syntax of contemporary German.
Students master the theoretical basis of sentence and text syntax to the extent that they can reflect the structure of sentences and texts via the methodology and conceptual apparatus of relevant linguistic disciplines. They can analyse sentences and texts and describe the main phenomena associated with sentence and text structures.
