Course content
|
Within the 21hours of the distant phase, students will create and later in the seminar give a practical presentation on how to use selected websites in German classes at Czech schools. Credit requirements: Presentation of the self-study results. The evaluation of the presentation which follows a discussion in the seminar is done by the teacher.

Learning outcomes

The internet has been developing very dynamicaly in the past few years and has had an influence on every side of our lives, including language teaching. The internet is becoming the most important medium for teachers as well as students. The aim of the seminar is to show the selected aspects of working with the internet, present some suitable and up-to-date websites (on linguistics, literature, cultural history and didactics) and point out the limits and weaknesses of the internet usage. Important aspect of the seminar is the didactic use of the concrete information found on the internet. Such information can be then used in teaching at schools.
Improvement of the didactic competence, - ability to work critically with the primary and secondary German literature - improvement of the computer literacy - ability to formulate questions and interpret texts independently - improvement of the ability to reason in discussions

Assessment methods and criteria

Presentation of the self-study results. The evaluation of the presentation which follows a discussion in the seminar is done by the teacher. Regular attendance, active participation in the seminars.
