Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to help students eliminate mistakes made regularly by Czechs studying German, and thus improve their language skills. The content of the course will be the systematic cure of students of the habit of making typically "Czech" errors in the field of German morphology and syntax. Teaching will include a detailed explanation of each type of error, as well as intensive training of the correct shapes leading to their automation. The course is intended for students with advanced knowledge of German grammar. The course is taught in German.
Students are able to define, analyse and describe the morphology of the three main word types (verbs, nouns and adjectives), as well as grammatical phenomena in the field of German syntax. They will not only be able to demonstrate that they are well versed in the issue, but also that they are able to clearly present it to their future pupils / students.
