1.Theoretical introduction to the issue of extracurricular teaching spaces (außerschulische Lernorte) 2.The issue of visiting the theatre and theatre performance as an impulse for teaching the German language 3.Didactic activities connected with the visit to the theatre (especially preparation before the visit and activities after the visit) 4.Simulation and presentation of students' own didactic proposals 5.Simulation and presentation of students' own didactic proposals 6. Learning outcomes
The topic of theater and dramatization covers two areas, on the one hand the issue of extracurricular teaching spaces (ausßerschulische Lernorte) and on the other hand theatre and drama pedagogy (Dramenpädagogik, Theater-pädagogik), both in the context of German language teaching. The aim of the course is therefore to develop students' ability and skill to make didactic use of a visit to a theatre performance and to work didactically with stage texts in the process of teaching and learning a foreign language. With the help of various didactic methods, the motivation of pupils / students to learn the German language increases, connects the curriculum with emotions and improves communicative competences. Students work with different types of texts (suitable dramatic texts, adaptations of literary texts, improvisations, scenic situations) and reflect on the possibilities of didactics of selected literary texts for a specific target group of pupils / students. Students create their own didactic models, which they then present in a simulated learning environment.
Students will learn to use visits to theater performances in German language teaching; students will learn to prepare and use scenic and dramatic elements in German language teaching
