Learning outcomes |
The aim of the course is to provide students with the most important current events and topics in the German language area, especially in the field of politics, culture and society. Students will get acquainted with relevant media (printed and electronic) and with methods of discursive-analytical approach to material. Topics will be chosen according to the current socio-political situation and interest in the course
The student - is able to work critically with German-language primary and secondary sources; - is able to identify a problem independently and interpret the text; - improved their ability to argue in discussions; - improved in writing; - expanded vocabulary in the field of history and culture; - is familiar with the geography of the German-speaking area; - is familiar with the historical and cultural development of German-speaking areas. |
