Learning outcomes
On the basis of previous courses in literary theory and German literary history, this course promotes (i) an overview of the development of individual genres and periods, (ii) an application of theory to specific literary works, and (iii) an interpretation of such works within the given cultural-historical context.
The student: " Knows the basic literary-theoretical concepts and literary genres, " Can describe their development, " Can orient him/herself in the history of German language literature, including that of the Czech Lands " Can use literary-theoretical terminology and interpret selected literary works within their cultural-historical context in a given period
