Course content
1. Introduction, elaborating an observation record and a preparation for the class - principles applied for elaboration of the material 2. Observation lessons in the primary school 3. Evaluation of the observation lesson with proposals of the possible didactic elaboration of the collected teaching material. 4. Observation of the primary school language lesson (school with extended teaching of languages). 5. Evaluation of the observation lesson with proposals for further possible didactic processing of the materials taught in the classroom. 6. A primary school observation lesson 7. Evaluation of the observation lesson with proposals for further possible didactic processing and structuring of the materials taught in the classroom. 8. The grammar school (gymnázium) observation lesson 9. Observation lesson at a professional type of secondary school 10. Evaluation of the observation lesson at the secondary school and proposals for further possible didactic structuring of the materials taught in the classroom. 11. Evaluation and assessment of continuous pedagogical practice.

Learning outcomes
The main objective of the course is to introduce principles of elaboration of the observation record and the student's own preparation for the teaching unit, to provide students with an insight in the teacher´s work at primary and secondary schools and on the basis of this introduction prepare them for their own pedagogical practice and the future pedagogical career.
Students will be able to fill in an observation record and reflect on the course of observation lessons, as well as the application of educative targets for individual teaching units (students´ own classes and their observation classes as well). On the basis of the acquired skills they will elaborate a preparation for their teaching unit.

Students attending this course will take part in all observation classes, elaborate observation records which will be submitted for inspection. In addition to every student will work on one theme that will represent one teaching unit at the determined type of school.
