Course content
|
The seminar focuses on poems by Nelly Sachs and on their translations into Czech/Slovak. After a short outline regarding her life and complete work, selected poems will be analysed and their translations in to Czech/Slovak discussed in more detail.

Work with and analysis of selected poems, improvement of German language, training of presentation skills.

Good knowledge of the German language.

Every student has to present at lest one paper on one selected poem and its analysis as well as an attempted translation.
