|
The object of the course are interdisciplinary approaches to cartographic creation. The attention is focused on the humanities (sociology, psychology and cultural anthropology) and the human perspective of cartography. Within the course the map is seen as one of the images of the world around us. The course deals with issues of mental mapping. Last but not least, the general questions of assessment of cartographic creation are solved. In the seminars, students apply the discussed approaches and methods in practical tasks.
