Learning outcomes
Most problems in science and technology cannot be solved in closed form, and methods have to be applied to calculate approximate solutions. The course provides background and implementation details for practical applications of basic numerical methods for solution of non-linear equations, solution of set of linear equations, interpolation and extrapolation, and numerical integration and derivation.

Prerequisites
Teaching in English is meant only for erasmus and foreign students. In the case of a small number of students is teaching in a form of individual consultations.
