1. Tradition of Anglo-Saxon philosophy and its influence on political philosophy. 2.-3. Three waves of modernity and classical and modern political thinking, values, political philosophy as a science-Strauss. 4.-5. Nozick-Distriution justice. 6.-7. Cohen and analytical Marxism, critique of liberalism. 8.-9. Democracy, human rights, liberalism-Ronald Dworkin. 10.-12. Topics and texts according to students' choice.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with important texts of Anglo-Saxon political philosophy. The choice of texts is partly influenced by the preferences of the referring students. After completing the course, the student will be able to understand a demanding text in the field of political philosophy, even written in English. They will be able to discuss and interpret it, uncluding in a broader context, they can report on it and take their own opinions.
