Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to introduce contexts and history of philosophical reflexion of the art based on following of the changes of its perception, interpretation and function. The course introduces to the students the changes of position and function of the art within the history and with different interpretation frames for its explanation. A starting point is the reading of source texts and its interpretation. The reading or the primary text will be completed with the introducing to the secondary texts and its parts
A student will gain the overview in basic theories of philosophy of art. He/she will know the difference between philosophy of art and aesthetics. He/she will develop the term basis needed for understanding of the theory of art and philosophy of art. He/she will be capable of independent argumentation. He/she will develop the ability to understand the texts and discuss and think independently within the theory of art.
