Learning outcomes
The course Media, society, politics II focusess on the issue of the role of the media in society, or the relationship between the media, public interest and politics and thus seamlessly follows on from its first part. The aim of the course will be an insight into the development of the position of the media, but also a focus on their behavior, influence and influence in contemporary society. The interpretation will therefore be devoted to issues of the position of the media and their influence in the social process, but also in th political process.

Assessment methods and criteria

The following are required for successful completion of the course 1) Completion of a research paper, which will be assessed on: a) Adherence to the time limit of the tent b) manner of presentation c) Handout (submitted electronically) d) Sources e) Preparation for discussion A total of up to 10 points may be awarded (a minimum of 6 points is required to pass the course). 2) Active participation in discussions (passive physical presence does not earn points for this activity). A total of up to 8 points can be earned (a minimum of 3 points is required to pass the course). A minimum of 9 points is required to complete the course, with a published minimum in each area. The deadline for assigning topics is 1 March 2025. Handouts are due no later than the day of the presentation. Deadlines are final and may not be missed. The course cannot be completed without a presented paper.
