Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to introduce the issue of social justice as a morally defensible distribution of goods or rewards in society. Special attention will be paid to the discussion of this issue in recent Anglo-Saxon philosophy.
Student will acquire following competences: - knowledge of various theories of justice - ability to judge critically different theories of social justice - will be able to prepare an informed paper about the social justice - is able to competently discuss competing concepts of social justice - applies acquired theoretical knowledge to social problems

Assessment methods and criteria

Oral exam + paper in class. A paper on a topic related to the course, in which the student demonstrates the ability to elaborate on the given topic in depth, demonstrates knowledge of the relevant theory, or the ability to apply it to specific problems. The oral exam takes place within the scope of lectures, or support (in combined studies).
