Main streams of thought in environmental studies and the development of the environmental movement / Ideas and Thoughts of Contemporary Environmentalism, the History of Environmental Movement. 14. Concluding seminar.

Learning outcomes
The seminars are focused on the discussion of current environmental problems, their possible solutions and the role of the individual / student in their search. The course should serve as a synthesizing supplement to professional subjects, enabling discussion and personal insights - partly in English, part of the seminars is also work with English vocabulary related to the topics (keywords).
Students will gain an overview of basic environmental theories. They will acquire the conceptual equipment needed to understand current environmental problems and be able to argue independently. They will acquire the ability to understand texts and to argue and reason independently.
