1. Didactic reflection of continuous pedagogical practice. 2. Controversy in the teaching of social science topics. 3. - 4. Eugen Fink: antinomies and dilemmas of education - consideration of the basics of social sciences; 5. Pupil's personality and possibilities of development of his key competencies within the basics of social sciences (cognitive and axiological level of social science topics). 6. Working with error. 7. Effective methods and forms of work in teaching civics and social sciences. 8. Roles, competencies and demands on social science teachers. 9. Discussion, debate in teaching social sciences. 10. Work with case studies. 11. Working with film. 12. Work with topics of modern history in the teaching of social sciences. 13. The role and possibilities of textbooks in the teaching of social sciences; analysis of selected existing textbooks 14. Proposals of educational programs for individual social science disciplines.

The main goal of the course is to deepen knowledge about the teaching of civics and social sciences and about selected methods and forms of work.

During the course, students create a portfolio in which they collect all written outputs from individual lessons. The 1st student will have a maximum of 2 excused absences 3rd student during the oral exam defends the didactic analysis and design of two thematic units from two selected social sciences |
