Socialism - Typology of socialist movements, basic principles 8. Socialism - Problems and prospects 9. Conservatism - Historical circumstances and the causes of establishment of conservatism 10. Conservatism - Particular movements within conservatism, its basic principles 11. Conservatism - Problems and prospects, what is "conserve"? 12. Future without ideology?

Learning outcomes
Politics is not just a struggle for power. In addition, there are political ideas that help to shape the character of political systems. The aim of the course is to get students acquainted with three main ideologies in the present condition, which forms the character of politics; in general terms describe political ideology and relationship of political ideology with other forms of political thoughts. Subsequently, there will be the description of individual ideology but also relationships and conflicts and historical, social and cultural circumstances of its formation. At the same time, not only their basic ideological principles will be emphasized. Particular selected ideologies will be described as internally differentiated currents of political thoughts. Possible alternatives of their further development will be outlined.
Learning outcomes: Students will be able to critically reflect political attitudes, with which they will be confronted both on campus and in civic life. They will be able to reflect their own political attitudes. They will acquire the knowledge of political ideology and understand the current political processes and possible solutions of today's political conflicts. In this case, they will be able to adopt their own attitudes and also express them at the academic level.
