Learning outcomes
|
The course focuse on the important, althoug usually omitted line of western ontology which thinks the fundament of reality as a dynamic change, process and evolution instead of stability, substance and presence. Contemporary philosophy is not comprehensible without the process oriented thinking and so this line of thought is the fundament of philosohical thinking as such. The aim of the course is meet some important philosophical figures, whose work is based on processual approach. The main topics that will be discussed are: change and duration, substance vs relation, process vs being, time, historicity, evolution, order and chaos, individuality vs plurality, etc.
The students will: Understand the major problems and challenges of the process oriented philosophy. Orientate in the field of processual philosophy
