Learning outcomes
The course focuses on reading, interpretation and discussion of the key text of so called poststructuralism. This line of philosophical thinking develope mainly in France between the fifties and eighties of the last century as a reaction to existentialism, linguistic and anthropological structuralism, marxism and psychoanalysis. Due to its critical approach to the classical philosophical tradition, it became one of the main positions of continental philosophy which now strife to come to terms with it. The course serves as supplement to the main lecture course Poststructuralism.
The students will: Get acquainted with the key poststructuralist texts. be able to write short review study
