Learning outcomes
1) as a follow-up to the completed Modern Philosophy overview course, to deepen students' familiarity with selected topics of Modern Philosophy. 2) contribute to building active skills aimed at studying a difficult text. 3) to encourage students' interest in academic work and the current state of secondary literature
- improved ability to independently study a difficult text (home preparation) - experience with a thorough interpretation of a difficult text - improved ability to present in front of a small group with a non-trivial message - deepening knowledge about Kant and modern philosophy - improved ability to work in a group - contribution to the estimation of one's own abilities in the field
Prerequisites
No unconditional request. However, it is very useful if the student is no longer a beginner (2nd year and above) and has already completed an overview course in modern philosophy
