Learning outcomes
The course builds on Ancient Greek I and requires knowledge corresponding to the first five lessons from the textbook C.W.E. Peckett, A.R. Munday, Thrasymachus. The course continues teaching basic grammar and essential vocabulary so that students will be able to read and translate ancient Greek texts (e.g. Aristotle's Categories). During the second semester, students should go through Lesson 6 to 10 from the textbook C.W.E. Peckett, A.R. Munday, Thrasymachus.
The student will gain the following professional skills: - masters grammar and vocabulary of Lessons 1 - 10 from the textbook C. W. E. Peckett, A. R. Munday, Thrasymachus. - can read and translate simple Greek texts

Preliminary knowledge of Greek grammar and vocabulary corresponding to the course Ancient Greek I
