Course content
Seminar topics: (6 h) 1. Theoretical introduction to simulation medicine. 2. Acquaintance with the environment of simulation centers. 3. Operation and handling of simulators, demonstration of SW. 4. Simulation of basic patient handling. 5. First aid (resuscitation) and SW evaluation of success. 6. Debriefing of the performed simulation. 7. Communication within nursing care and contact with the patient. 8. Discussion of actions taken.

Learning outcomes

Expertise: Students will get to know the modern possibilities of using simulation teaching. Professional skills: Students are capable of basic patient care, especially with regard to communication, and are able to provide first aid to the patient. General qualifications: Students are able to evaluate the correct approach to the patient and will improve their professional skills, which they will use in further practice.
