Course content
Seminar topics: 1st consultation: Organization of comprehensive rehabilitation and its implementation. Social rehabilitation - aims and resources. Basic social legislation. Occupational rehabilitation - aims and resources. Inclusion of persons with disabilities in the work process. Retraining Analysis of workplaces and work activities. Self-study: Medical assessment service. Overview of social and occupational rehabilitation providers, target groups of users. Social rehabilitation according to the law č. 435/2004 Sb. o zaměstnanosti.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the issues of social and occupational rehabilitation, procedures and means of vocational rehabilitation and inclusion of persons with disabilities in the work process. The importance of social rehabilitation as a tool in integrating people with long-term illness into the system of psychosocial rehabilitation. Further, to acquaint students with social service providers and organizations enabling occupational rehabilitation in the Ústí region.
Expertise: Graduates are able to define the issue of social and occupational rehabilitation with respect to current legislation in connection with ongoing reforms. Professional skills: Students can design short and long term rehabilitation plans in the field of social and occupational rehabilitation. Can map out the possibilities of social and work integration of a client with regard to the region in which he lives.
