Lecture Topics: 1. The current international classification of a disability. 2. Organization of a comprehensive rehabilitation and its realization. 3. Social rehabilitation: goals and means. 4. Basic social legislation. 5. Organization of the State Social Care. 6. Occupational rehabilitation: goals and means. 7. Mutual links of the social and occupational rehabilitation. 8. The facilities providing the social and occupational rehabilitation in the Czech Republic and abroad. 9. Getting to know the facilities providing the social and occupational rehabilitation in the Czech Republic and abroad. 10. Revision Seminar Topics: 1. Ergodiagnostic examination. 2. Learning outcomes |
The aim of the subject is to introduce the students with the issues of social and occupational rehabilitation, procedures and means of the occupational rehabilitation and inclusion of people with disabilities into the work force. The importance of the social rehabilitation as a tool in the inclusion of people with long term illnesses into the system of the psychosocial rehabilitation. The subject also introduces student with the providers of social services and with the organizations offering the occupational rehabilitation in the Ustí Region.
Subject Knowledge: Students are able to define the issues of the social and occupational rehabilitation with the regard to the current legislation in the context of the ongoing reforms. Subject Skills: Students can devise short- term and long-term rehabilitation plans in the area of the social and occupational rehabilitation. Student is able to map the possibilities of a social and professional integration of the client with the respect to the region in which he lives. |
