Course content
Summer semester: 1st week: Active movement. 2nd week: Positioning. 3rd week: Respiratory physiotherapy. 4th week: Exercise according to muscle test.

Learning outcomes
The course provides students with practical physiotherapy skills. It is taught at specialized workplaces of medical institutions, including specialized ones. It leads students to work independently on a quality professional level. The aim of the course is to acquire knowledge of the application of physiotherapy in individual indication areas, knowledge of examination of locomotor and internal systems, knowledge of principles of therapeutic procedures in the implementation of a comprehensive rehabilitation program.
Expertise: Student is able to use passive movement in individual indication areas, apply basic types of active movement, positioning procedures according to goals. Professional skills: Students are able to realize basic procedures of respiratory physiotherapy, to examine the muscular system according to the muscle test, including the following exercises according to the muscle test, to realize fitness exercises.

Credit: written paper about examination of the musculoskeletal system by a physiotherapist (muscle test according to Janda) 100% participation in Professional Continuous Practice II.
