Lecture topics: 1. VAS - vertebrogenic algic syndromes. 2. Peripheral NS, myopathy, myasthenia gravis. 3. Headache, neurosis, epilepsy. 4. CMP. 5. CNS tumors. 6. CNS injuries. 7. Nervous system infections, spinal cord and its diseases, spinal syndromes, topography. 8. Multiple sclerosis. 9. Extrapyramidal and other degeneration of NS, DMO.

The course is designed as a theoretical - practical, based on the basics of general neurology. This knowledge is a prerequisite for completing special neurology education. It acquaints students with the nature of specific neurological disorders. The aim of the course is to provide basic orientation in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in selected neurological diseases, including the basics of comprehensive care for neurological patients and special examinations in neurology in terms of physiotherapy.
Expertise: Students can describe the basic mechanisms of neurological diseases, including special examinations in neurology, which are a prerequisite for the application of concepts and methods of physiotherapy on neurophysiological basis. They are well versed in professional terminology. Professional Skills: The student is able to orientate in the issue of special neurology, to examine the peripheral and central nervous system from the perspective of a physiotherapist. General eligibility: Students are able to apply the acquired knowledge to physiotherapeutic concepts, methods and procedures that use in their application and diagnostics neurophysiological basis.
