Course content
Seminar topics: 1. Introduction to etiopathogenesis of diseases in internal medicine, basic examination methods and medical procedures in internal medicine, general symptomatology - geriatric specifics. 2. Use of ICT in therapy, ICT as part of physiotherapy. 3. Programs suitable for physiotherapeutic intervention. 4. ICT in dementia, in Parkinson's disease, in arthrosis. 5. Practical use of programs on PC. 6. Practical use of the game console.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide theoretical background for physiotherapy, especially knowledge of general symptoms of diseases, to acquaint them with examination and treatment methods and to provide special knowledge about individual diseases and acute conditions. The importance of prevention is emphasized. The aim is to enable students to obtain theoretical background concerning examination methods, clinical symptoms and treatment methods of internal diseases, which suitably complement the use of modern technologies in clinical practice.
Expertise: Student demonstrates professional knowledge of modern technologies that are applied in ergotherapy. In connection with this knowledge the student demonstrates expertise in the use of modern technologies and individual programs in the most common diagnoses of geriatric clients. Professional skills: The student is able to suitably choose an intervention program with selected modern technology for individual diagnoses. General eligibility: The student is able to use theoretical knowledge of examination methods in practice. They are able to adequately integrate modern technologies into physiotherapeutic intervention.
