Lecture topics: 1. McKenzie's method - cervical spine 2. McKenzie's method - lumbar spine 3. Bobath´s concept in children 4. Bobath's concept in adults 5. Reflex Locomotion Method of dr. Vojta 6. Method of reflex locomotion of dr. Vojta (positional reactions) 7. Developmental kinesiology according to Kolář 8. Dynamic neuromuscular stabilization 9. Basal programs and subroutines according to Jarmila Čápová Exercise topics: 1. Basal programs and subprograms by Jarmila Čápová 2. Centering of the shoulder joint 3. Dynamic stabilization of shoulder joint, hip joint 4. Dynamic neuromuscular stabilization 5. Examination and mobilization of ribs according to Lewit 6. Examination and mobilization of cervical spine according to Lewit 7. Examination and mobilization of the thoracic spine according to Lewit 8. Learning outcomes
The course builds on information gained in Physiotherapy and provides knowledge of modern methods of movement therapy. In the form of theoretical - practical students will acquire these methods and use them in professional practice.
Expertise: The student is able to explain the principles and procedures of examination and therapy of the above mentioned physiotherapeutic methods and to justify their use in practice. Professional skills: Student is able to perform examination and mobilization of ribs, spine according to Lewit, can apply basic elements of the concept basal programs and subroutines by Jarmila Čápová and dynamic neuromuscular stabilization. General eligibility: The student is able to use the acquired professional skills in practice.
