Lecture topics: 1. Anatomy and physiology of the female reproductive system. 2. Menstrual disorders, developmental disorders and aberrant placement of small pelvis organs. 3. Gynecological operations. 4. Benign tumors and oncogynecology. 5. Pregnancy, childbirth, puerperium. 6. Gynecological problems in sportswomen.

Learning outcomes
|
The course acquaints students with basic knowledge of the care of woman and mother in particular periods in health and illness. The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the role of mother, who fulfills her biological function, through the knowledge of gynecology and obstetrics. It leads them to the conscious use of acquired knowledge in prevention and physiotherapy in women of different ages and social status.
Expertise: Student is able to describe the anatomy and physiology of the female reproductive system, define menstruation disorders, developmental disorders and a different arrangement of small pelvis organs. Can explain the period of pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium. He knows gynecological problems of sportswomen. Professional skills: Student is able to use the acquired knowledge in determining the physiotherapy plan in the indication area of gynecology and obstetrics. General eligibility: Student is able to apply theoretical knowledge in practice.
