Course content
Lecture topics: 1. Physiological mechanisms applied in physiotherapy. 2. Specifics of exercise adaptation in patients with CHD. 3. Physiotherapy in patients with CHD. 4. Physiotherapy in cardiac surgery. 5. Physiotherapy in patients with metabolic syndrome (obesity, diabetes mellitus). 6. Physiotherapy in rheumatology (Mb. Bechterew, rheumatoid arthritis). 7. Physiotherapy in osteoarthritis DK, osteoporosis. 8. Physiotherapy in oncology. 9. Physiotherapy in geriatrics (physical activity of seniors, sarcopenia). Exercise topics: 1. Klapp's Climbing I. 2. Klapp's Climbing II. 3. Klapp's climbing III. 4. Method of L. Mojžíšová - examination and therapy of rib mobilization according to L. Mojžíšová. 5. Method of L. Mojžíšová - examination and therapy of Lp, Thp, C / Thp and pelvis according to L. Mojžíšová. 6. Method of L. Mojžíšová - functional chaining of muscle spasms. 7. Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation - basic facilitation mechanisms. 8. Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation - 1st diagonal HK, scapula. 9. Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation - 2nd diagonal HK.

Learning outcomes
The course is concipated as a theoretical-practical, it is the subject of profiling the basis of the study program. It acquaints students with the pathogenesis of functional disorders of the musculoskeletal and internal systems, with examination and diagnostic methods, procedures and concepts of physiotherapy used in the indication areas of internal medicine, geriatrics, rheumatology, oncology. The acquired professional knowledge and professional skills will be applied by students in professional continuous practice. The aim of the course is to use professional knowledge, professional skills, general competence in methods, procedures and concepts of physiotherapy in individual clinical fields.
Expertise: The student demonstrates a broad knowledge of physiological mechanisms of physical exercise applied in physiotherapy, specifics of stress adaptation of a patient with CHD, understanding of the possibilities and conditions of physiotherapy in the area of internal medicine, rheumatology, oncology, geriatrics. It demonstrates broad knowledge of the nature of the implementation of the short-term and long-term plan in the indicated areas of indication. Professional skills: Student is able to use basic principles of Klapp's climbing in quadrupedal locomotion according to J. Čápová, PNF within the 1st and 2nd diagonals at HK, he can perform basic examination and therapeutic procedure according to the method of L. Mojžíšová. General eligibility: Student is able to practically use the basic elements of the PNF concept, the method of L. Mojžíšová in individual indication areas of physiotherapy.
