Course content
Lecture Topics: 1. consultation Surgery - general part, inflammation, tumors, shock, incomplete resuscitation. Surgery - special part - cardiosurgery, chest surgery, breast tumors. 2. consultation Traumatology - wounds, burns, skull and brain injuries. Traumatology - chest, abdomen injury. 3. consultation Fractures HK - basic types, most frequent fractures according to localization of conservative therapy, operative therapy. DK fractures - basic types, most frequent fractures according to localization of conservative therapy, operative therapy. 4. consultation Pelvic fractures - basic types, most frequent fractures according to localization of conservative therapy, operative therapy. Complications of healing fractures, pelvis, upper and lower limbs. Self-study: Surgery of the abdomen, urogenital system, surgery of arteries and veins.

Learning outcomes
Brief History of the Field. Knowledge of basic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in surgery according to individual areas and disciplines with the application of the latest trends in relation to rehabilitation and physiotherapy. Comprehensive overview of diagnostics and subsequent conservative and operative treatment of locomotive trauma with emphasis on prevention and use of the latest surgical trends in traumatology in relation to subsequent physiotherapy.
Expertise: The student demonstrates broad knowledge of the principles of surgical inflammation treatment, knows the basic division of tumors, shocks. They can describe individual steps of urgent resuscitation and are able to demonstrate them in practice. Can enumerate and briefly describe the underlying diseases and principles of operations in the head, chest and abdomen by subject. They can describe the types of burns and the principles of their treatment. Professional skills: Student knows the distribution of musculoskeletal injuries according to types of affected tissues and fractures according to individual localities, is able to describe diagnostic and therapeutic methods in traumatology with emphasis on subsequent rehabilitation. The level of knowledge will be verified by continuous tests.
