Course content
1. Initial meeting, introduction to how the site works. 2-3 Analysis of the level of students' skills and ideas, phasing the semester according to the findings. 4-5 Theoretical and practical acquaintance with key issues within smaller groups divided according to section 2-3. 6. Performing a continuous exercise in integration of systems, assignment of seminar works. 7. Performing a continuous exercise - Communication and network methods of data transmission: MIDI, OSC, NDI, DMX, assignment of seminar works. 8-9 Analysis of realizations, evaluation, comparison: possible choices of alternative methods of processing. 10. Examples of interconnecting subsystems into functional units - Technologies for distribution of image, sound and light. 11. Performing a continuous exercise in interconnecting individual systems into functional units - Creating a multimedia composition based on interconnection of several elements. 12-13 Presentation and evaluation of completed seminar works by course participants.

Learning outcomes
Disciplinary technologies V / Integration of systems The introductory course deals with application of knowledge of hardware and software in the field of multimedia creation and their use in practice. Students are guided to analyze the issues of various types of realizations, and to identify key elements of projects, in order to actively select appropriate and suitable procedures and interconnect individual systems into functional units. Great emphasis is placed on ability to apply the acquired knowledge in practice. Therefore, attention is paid to acquisition of practical skills in the field of integrating systems in the environment of galleries and in a wide range of creative industries. The course is related to the subject Disciplinary software V conducted in the same semester. It focuses on multimedia projects of audiovisual and image (photographic) formats. In addition, the course presents various author approaches correlating with the issues being discussed.
The gained capabilities constitute an encompassment and an aquirement of knowledge and experience in the given field of study, they result from a concrete annotation of the subject and are aimed at a profile´s fulfilment of the graduate of the given field of study.
