Course content
1. Introduction to the issues; acquaintance with the environment of the classroom and studio, their equipment and operation. 2. Video recording technology; acquaintance with instrumentation, operation of devices, coordination of steps, technology reservation system. 3. Introduction to software, basic principles of post-production adjustments and editing. 4.-5. Formats for video processing and distribution, codecs, resolutions. 6. Performing a continuous exercise. 7.-8. Editing and dramaturgical structure of AV output; nonlinear video processing - Adobe software. 9. Previews from videoart history. 10. Workflow and data management in video projects; work with colour. 11. Performing an assigned task. 12. Working with audio in video: video and audio synchronization, adjustments, editing audio tracks. 13. Presentation and evaluation of completed seminar works by course participants.

Learning outcomes
Disciplinary technologies III / Video Introduction to video formatting techniques. The introductory course deals with basic technologies for video recording and their application in practice. It acquaints students with procedures applied in realization of smaller video projects. The course includes realization of video and moving images using tools of editing, animation and post-production programs, including introduction to formats for various distribution platforms.
The gained capabilities constitute an encompassment and an aquirement of knowledge and experience in the given field of study, they result from a concrete annotation of the subject and are aimed at a profile´s fulfilment of the graduate of the given field of study.
