This course is based on purely individual approach and comes out of individual students' needs, in accordance with their focus on a particular theme of their diploma work. During the two semesters, the student consults the practical part of his/her diploma work, as well as its written defence, and starting from the initial seminars, in which the basic principles of creating a diploma work are defined, they realize their themes step by step up to the resulting stage to be presented as part of the final state examinations. Besides consulting realization of the diploma work itself and the written defence of the bachelor's work, the student is recommended professional literature, as well as names of theoreticians, curators or designers and artists who might give him/her further inspiring consultations, study material, and information on the theme.
The student is able to consult their diploma thesis and understand realization of the work as an independent work of art that already means a certain peculiar contribution to the mosaic of the current art scene. The student is able to develop their work both practically and theoretically and to defend and explain what they intend to achieve. They have a notion of contemporary art and can incorporate their work in its context. |
