Learning outcomes
The aim of the professional practice is to broaden knowledge, to verify one's own professional knowledge and skills directly in the work process. The focus of the professional practice is optional, and is based on consultation and subsequent agreement between the student and the studio manager. The choice of focus should be beneficial for the professional and artistic growth of individual students. Practices in photography studios, studios, advertising and marketing agencies, publishing houses, museums, galleries and other cultural institutions, etc. (according to the focus of a particular studio) are recommended. In practice, the student verifies his / her existing knowledge and expands his / her skills in an institution or business environment that focuses on current audiovisual formats for digital image and sound processing. He is able and ready to respond to assignments from both the artistic and commercial character. He / she is able to communicate a wide problem of realization of the work with a potential client. On the basis of the client's requirements, he / she is able to evaluate and process the documents and the economic balance sheet. They are able to work together in a wider team of co-authors who participate more demanding projects. He / she can present and evaluate his / her knowledge in practice in studio work.
By means of the professional practice, the student gets a notion of the practical operation and activities in the artistic exchange. They know the principles of how galleries and artistic studios or other cultural institutions work. The student is able to understand the whole system and knows what happens to an artwork after it has left the author's studio.
