Exercise topics: 1. Therapeutic procedures on Myro equipment, use of occupational therapy table, and interactive MagicBox devices 2. Therapeutic procedures on the Armeo Spring device 3. Therapeutic procedures on the BalanceTutor device 4. Therapeutic procedures on Saebo equipment, SaeboStim Micro 5. Therapeutic procedures on the Imoove 300 device, Therapeutic procedures on the MOTOMED device, SMART PEGBOARD 6. Therapeutic procedures using the device for functional electrical stimulation of the hand NESS H200 7. Practical exercises of self-sufficiency for individual types of disabilities. 8. Learning outcomes
The course is structured as practical. Within the course, students will get acquainted with the latest devices used in occupational therapy intervention, try to create compensatory aids and teaching aids, examination of the client with selected test batteries, kinesiological analysis of individual activities. The analysis of individual activities will make it easier for students to decide on their use in practice with regard to the goals of occupational therapy intervention. Students will know their possible therapeutic effect, ways to motivate the client to implement them, the principles of safety.
Expertise: The student demonstrates knowledge of selected therapeutic procedures on individual devices, can use selected test batteries in a targeted manner Professional skills: The student is able to choose a suitable therapeutic technique depending on the age, gender and diagnosis of the client.
