Learning outcomes
The content of the course is an individual practical activity of students in health care facilities, social and rehabilitation institutions under the methodical guidance of an experienced worker. The aim of individual professional practice is to provide professional practical preparation for the occupation in the operating conditions. Students will deepen their knowledge gained in professional subjects of the field of study.
Expertise: Students will deepen their knowledge and practical skills acquired in professional subjects of the field of study and will learn to respect the specificities of clients, rules and principles of ethics of behavior of the occupational therapist. Professional skills: The student is able to choose the appropriate positioning method, appropriate form of fitness exercise, goniometric and anthropometric, to choose the appropriate way of performing passive movement, to use ADL tests (Barthel index / instrumental ADL / FIM test), to choose compensatory aids. . Competences: The student is able to practically perform patient positioning, fitness exercises, examination of the range of motion in the joint - goniometry, measurement of circuit lengths on the body - anthropometry, passive movement, examination of ADL (Barthel index / test of instrumental ADL / FIM), selection and recommendation of compensation aids, transfers patient. He is able to take anamnesis independently, perform an ergotherapeutic examination and establish and implement an ergotherapeutic plan in the range of theoretical knowledge.

Credit: 100% attendance at Professional Continuous Practice II. Written elaboration of ergotherapy examination according to the teacher's assignment.
