Lecture Topics: 1. Introduction to the subject. Concepts. 2. Upper limb amputation. 3. Lower limb amputation. 4. Upper limb prostheses 5. Lower limb prostheses 6. Orthotics, calceotics, adjuvatics Seminar Topics: 1. Care for amputation stub 2. Prosthetic manipulation training 3. School of walking, training of falls 4. Specifics of ergotherapy in amputated therapy 5. Internship at the prosthetic department. 6. Internship at the prosthetic department.

Learning outcomes
The subject provides professional knowledge and knowledge of prosthetics so that students understand the complexity of diagnostics and treatment options. It is focused on limb prosthesis, orthotics, calceotics, and adjuvant. Students will use the information in professional practice.
Expertise: The student demonstrates broad knowledge of prosthetics. It demonstrates broad knowledge of the essence of ergotherapeutic plan design with a focus on individual types of amputations. Professional skills: The student is able to apply ergotherapeutic knowledge in practice with a focus on prosthetic issues. He can examine the client and subsequently create an ergotherapeutic plan with a focus on the client's condition, other diagnoses, etc. Competences: The student is able to practically use acquired knowledge in clients with different types of amputations and with different diagnoses.
