Learning outcomes
The subject is outlined as a theoretical-practical unit. It offers students the basic knowledge of relations of psychical phenomena and processes in terms of general and clinical psychology. It defines basic problems, terms and relations of psyche. The aim of clinical psychology is to understand the psychological problems of some kinds of diseases. It deepens the knowledge that is necessary for professional handling of difficult situations in the care of individual needs of ill, handicapped and dying people. It deepens the knowledge that is necessary for the maintenance of mental balance of the care and help provider himself.
