Course content
Lecture Topics: 1st consultation: 1. Transfer and processing of information and basic principles of CNS control. Spinal CNS control. 2. Basic principles of trunk, subcortical and cortical control. 3. Locomotion control, fatal functions, senses. Seminar Topics: 1st consultation: 1. Clinical aspects: neurophysiology in relation to neurological diseases 2. Locomotion and fatics disorders from the perspective of neurophysiology Self-study: Preparation of a presentation according to the teacher's instructions and preparation for a written test according to thematic areas.

Learning outcomes
The course builds on the knowledge gained in the functional anatomy of the locomotor and nervous systems, and further extends it, especially in relation to clinical practice. Students will acquire knowledge of central mechanisms of motor and locomotive control from a clinical point of view, as well as other functions such as fatal functions, senses, etc. The student should understand the basic physiological functions of CNS, neuron physiology and functional manifestations of the nervous system. Students will use this information in other professional subjects.
Expertise: The student is able to describe and analyze the management of motor skills, fatal functions, vision and other senses at the CNS and PNS levels. Professional skills: The student is able to use acquired knowledge in individual concepts on a neurophysiological basis. Competences: The student is able to apply acquired knowledge in individual occupational therapy concepts on a neurophysiological basis and thus realizes a comprehensive ergotherapeutic program.
