Course content
1 week: guided practice at faculty selected workplaces in accordance with graduate profile. Weeks 2 to 5: the student's chosen workplace in accordance with the graduate profile. The student will carry out examination of spinal mobility, cognitive function examination, reminiscence therapy, Mirror therapy, concept of basal stimulation (use of Snoezelen), fine motor skills (use of therapeutic aids), sensomotor stimulation (use of labile surfaces), one of the targeted ergotherapeutic methods. and concepts (PANat method, CIMPT, Zdena Jebava ball facilitation, Bobath concept, J. Ayres sensory integration, therapeutic splinting, etc.), performs initial examinations, plans ergotherapeutic intervention, final examinations and evaluations, conducts continuous occupational therapy records.

Learning outcomes
The course builds on the skills acquired in Professional Continuous Practice IV. It is taught at specialized health care facilities, including specialized facilities. It leads students to independent work on a high-quality professional level. The aim of the course is to acquire knowledge of ergotherapy application in the areas of neurology, neurosurgery, psychiatry prosthetics, knowledge of the principles of treatment procedures in fulfilling a comprehensive rehabilitation plan.
Expertise: The student is able to explain the occupational therapy entrance, control and final examination. Can describe ergotherapeutic intervention. Professional skills: They can choose appropriate ergotherapeutic methods and procedures according to examination. It implements a short-term occupational therapy plan.
